Education and training services in Dominican Republic

Another useful early-stage signal comes from the Dominican Republic, where Inabie has opened a public consultation on the contracting conditions for school supplies for the 2027-2028 and 2028-2029 school years. Interested parties have until 21 October to comment before the final tender documents are published. One detail matters a lot here: the call is directed exclusively to domestic manufacturing MSMEs. So this is not just a consultation. It is also an access rule, and suppliers outside that group need to read the market accordingly.

The Dominican Republic is earlier in the chain, but still worth attention. Authorities launched a six-month assessment covering about 8,000 education facilities, including 6,000 schools built before the seismic code. Surveys and technical registers are not glamorous, but they often shape the next wave of engineering and retrofit demand. If you work in inspections, structural assessment or school infrastructure, this is the kind of groundwork that matters.
