Portugal narrows high-speed train field to two

Portugal is at a later stage. There, Talgo and Alstom were chosen to present proposals to supply high-speed trains to CP in a procurement with a base value of €504m. That is not an award, but it is a clear narrowing of the field in a major rolling stock purchase. If you supply into train programmes, that kind of shortlist matters because it tells you where the competition now sits.
